The inferior alveolar nerve bock is one of the most commons types of periphery anaesthetic given to patients in dentistry. We created a 3D visualization of this procedure combining a 3D scanned mandible with 3D modelled anatomical structures that were animated to show the correct placement of the anaesthetic. This is part of an instructional video that will be used in dentistry education.
